Alm-1:   A Peasant is extraordinarily stingy. He shuts all foodstuffs away; even his wife has no access. One day during his absence a beggar asks his wife for a gift. She has nothing to give except her love. She gives her love twice. The wife of the greedy peasant gives her favors to a beggar because she has no alms.

Alm-112:   The stingy husband who has shut off all the foodstuffs overhears the beggar’s thanks and beats his wife asking for an explanation. She confesses that she has given her love to the beggar. The peasant regrets his greed and gives his wife the keys.
