BeicB-1:   A peasant has a beautiful wife. One day she makes the proposition to mutually hear confession. When her husband asks if she had granted her favors to anyone, she confesses her lapse with the village’s shepherd, with the master’s messenger, with the minister, the son of the neighbor, the lawyer, the landholder’s steward, the kitchen master, the old shepherd and the sexton, but she always has the excuse of having done it in her husband’s favor.

When he agrees humbly she grants grace and he is absolved in the name of the father, the son and the Holy Spirit.
