Promythion: The poet admits that he is uneducated. A king in war with heathen neighbors has the castle Nussberg built and gives it to a brave knight. The knight of Nussberg manages to catch the heathen king. While he is prisoner on the castle his wife falls in love with the heathen king and frees the prisoner and elopes with him while her husband is absent.
