Kreu-1:
A woman is bothered by a minister as she is waking from sleep. She rejects him again, but he maintains that he had her already, whilst asleep. As proof, he has painted a cross with charcoal on her body and forehead. Finding the cross, she believes his words that there has been magic involved, and she voluntary makes love to him. When she complains that she didn’t feel the joy of lovemaking the first time, he admits that it had been his cunning. Now she is glad, and they promise mutual faithfulness until their death. Epimythion: Be warned of cunning ministers.
