A knight lusts after the young and beautiful peasant’s wife. He plans a practical joke together with a matchmaker in order to have the peasant out of the house. In the following night a scholar in service of the knight and farmhand kidnap the peasant’s goat and make it scream so that the peasant gets up to save her from the wolves which he manages after a long interplay by morning. Meanwhile the knight enjoys the peasant’s wife. Epimythion: To watch a woman is futile.
