Der schwangere Müller (>1300)
Keller, Adelbert von: Erzählungen aus altdeutschen Handschriften. (=StLV 35) Stuttgart 1855 p. 463–470.

SchwM-1:   The young miller Gumprecht der Gül wants to take a wife. As he is inexperienced in love, his friend Albrecht sends him to an experienced peasant girl who will teach him for payment. When, despite her instructions, he just lies there like a piece of wood, she angrily sends him away. Albrecht advises the disappointed miller to try it again.

SchwM-170:   The girl agrees and gives the moron a taste of the sweetness of love by feeding him honey the whole night through. Gumprecht’s belly aches because of the honey, but he thinks he is pregnant. Albrecht sends an old woman to help him give birth. They play along and “deliver him” of his child. When he wants to see his child, they catch a young swallow and put it into a pot. The moron lifts the lid, and the swallow escapes. Now he mourns the loss of his child.
