SohnB-1:   Promythion: Follow the advice of good friends. The son of a rich citizen is a spendthrift, because he has been pampered by his father. The father hopes that the son will come to his senses, and he gives him a part of his possessions and a wife. But soon the son has spent all with his noble friends, and in his distress he comes back to his father. The father advises him he should beg for help from those friends who have spent his money. With a rented horse, he visits his friends, but they reject him. Disappointed he returns to his father, who sends him to his own friends. He is received well and gets all the help he wants. The son returns home and is advised by his father to take only friends who are similar to his own. Epimythion: Who wastes his possessions is a fool.
