MaAm-1:   (1a-b; 2a-b; 3a) A knight (Manuel) wooes a lady, by the name of Amande. Messengers are sent out to Greece and Spain to invite guests to their wedding feast at Arthur’s court in Karidol. Many guests attend the splendid festival. Minstrels are offered generous gifts. After the feast has ended Manuel and his wife leave for Greece where they live until their death.

MaAm-3:   (3b; 4a-4b, v.150) The story of King Arthur’s death: The courtiers think King Arthur will never die, for he lay undecayed on his bier for a long time. 25 years later Arthur presided over a Round Table in Britain. Many strange stories can be told about the king’s life and his death. His contemporaries expect his return.

MaAm-4:   (4b, v.151-4d; 3c-3d; 2c-2d, v.272) There are many stories about King Arthur’s death: One of them says that he was killed by a monstrous sea-cat that had been caught. The queen died 11 years later from grief and was buried in St David’s church. Nowadays the wonderful old times of the Round Table are gone.
